| Monthly Chapter Meeting iStruggle: Parenting the iGeneration Tuesday, March 6th, 7pm | iStruggle: Parenting the iGeneration- the Most Connected and Most Unhappy Generation Yet Come learn about ground breaking research that tells us how having constant access to technology is changing the way our kids relate and feel about themselves.
This is a Free Parent Education Event presented by Jennifer Curtin, MS, LCPC of Evolution Counseling Meeting Location: Four Winds Waldorf School | Member Highlight Martina Blaha | I am a holistic mom because: I believe my lifestyle became "holistic" long before I even had any understanding about the true meaning of the holistic lifestyle and I guess I have very diverse view on a lifestyle in general. Being born in foreign country with very different cultural background, I guess I can now say with deepest appreciation that I was very fortunate to be influenced by my loving family who taught me about mindfulness and compassion to our Mother Earth. I grew up in very unadorned yet rich environment surrounded by beauty of our nature. From very early on we were taught how to be kind and protective of our Mother Earth. Everybody lived in harmony with nature, that means we grew our own food/vegetables, raised our own animals, had access to endless orchards, vineyards, ate only seasonal food, used herbal products that were hand made, produced 0 waste, learned not to waste nature's treasures such as water, and the list goes on and on.
So the answer to a question "Why I became holistic mom" would be very simple: I don't even know how to live differently:)
My holistic passions are: My biggest holistic passions are: my organic garden, cooking healthy meals for my family, and of course my work, where as "wholistic" practitioner trying to bring my clients to full homeostasis!
What is your favorite healthy recipe?
