| | Notes from the June Meeting |
Attendees at the June meeting were delighted to welcome Danielle Koprowski, ACPI Certified Coach for Parents, and listen as Danielle discussed the eight principles for attachment parenting. Danielle shared great insight and offered advice to several moms in the group who shared specific challenges they are currently facing, such as how to deal with unreasonable tantrums and older children coping with a new young sibling. As always, everyone in attendance shared experience, suggestions and support for one another. As an added bonus, everyone in attendance received a free 5 Day Positive Parenting course from Danielle through Free to Be Parenting! Join us as Jodi Trendler, host of Naperville Green drinks and representing Naperville's Renewable Energy Program, discusses just how easy it is to make an environmental impact by using renewable energy. Attendees will walk away from this meeting with quick steps they can do immediatly in their homes to make them more energy effecient and a plan for improving the use of renewable energy in our community. Not a Naperville resident? No problem, families living outside Naperville can also participate in the program and the impact is the same.

Story Time & Moms Chat: We will meet in the cafe area the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30-11 am. A story, craft and songs will be shared from 9:30 - 10 am with continued time for connecting until 11 am. All ages are welcome! Stories read by Hobson Co-Operative Preschool Instructors.
