Ayurveda Eugenics - Ancient wisdom of developing excellent Progeny
Tuesday, June 2nd, 2015

A mother is always so excited to welcome her child and starts thinking and getting ready for caring for herself and her baby right from the conception.

While all moms and parents take utmost care when the child is born, but how about giving the best gift of lifetime even ʺbeforeʺ the conception.

Ayurveda, the most ancient medical science teaches us how to develop the ʺbestʺ ovum and female reproductive system, as well as sperm for the formation of a superior fetus and further develop the fetus not only at Physical and Mental level, but also at Intellect and Emotional levels to achieve an excellent progeny.

Come and join us for understanding these key aspects and how to get prepared before conception through the 5000 year old wisdom of Ayurveda - The science of Life.

How long have you been a member of HMN?
I joined HMN in December 14'

I am an Holistic Mom because:  I am a holistic mom and parent because I work very hard to recognize how things are all interconnected and impactful on the whole.  I am proud that our family of 6 are all vegetarians, not only because it is healthier, but because it positively impacts the environment and the world as a whole.  We work very hard to be holistic in our parenting approach, recognizing each of our 4 children as beautiful, intelligent, and each possessing unique needs - sometimes it is very challenging but we are always learning.  That's what being holistic is to me, being open and willing to constantly learn.

My holistic passions are: My holistic passions are varied.  I have worked as a massage therapist in a Chiropractic office for the last ten years which is what started my passion for a more holistic approach to healthcare.  My passion for holistic living led me to become trained as a birth doula.  I have since gone into business as a doula and have attended over 75 births in the past 3 years. My greatest passion is in helping support and empower women through their journey in pregnancy and birth.  With my own personal birth experiences range from having a c section with our first, to a medicated VBAC, followed by an unmedicated VBAC, and   to my most recent homebirth of our forth child. From my own personal experience I found out how important support and guidance truly is and I am blessed to be able to offer that support and empowerment to women.

What inspires you about HMN or holistic living?  I am always inspired by the amazing women and mothers I meet. I am always looking to learn  from others.  My hunger for knowledge to grow and to do and be better is always driving me.
