| Next Month's Meeting
Embracing Motherhood July 5th, 2011 7-9 PM | Remember the days of going out with your girlfriends-going to a movie, having dinner, ending the evening with a cocktail? Or maybe you and your husband decided to stay in and have a romantic dinner for two? Then along comes that precious baby. You're so excited to bring a child into the world! And now you have a new name: MOM! Such an amazing feeling! So many things change when we become mothers. How do we balance being a mom, a wife and a woman? How do we deal with our change in responsibility?
Please come to our next meeting and share your story of how you have "embraced motherhood" and everything that goes along with it. Share with others the way you have chosen to create balance in your family. You won't want to miss this one! | Member Profile Meg Dedolph |
How long have you been a member of HMN? Two years. I'm a Holistic Mom because: I want an alternative to mainstream thinking.
My holistic passions are: eating seasonally and locally, vegetarian cooking, simple living and natural parenting. What inspires me about Holistic Moms or holistic living? Our family likes to work on living simply, eating local and resisting consumerism, which makes HMN a nice place to find like-minded people.

Clean Out the Closets-get ready for the August meeting now! August 2nd, 2011 |
Our August chapter meeting is a great time to clear the clutter out of our lives. Do you have clothes that you have been meaning to clean out of your closet? Outgrown toys out of the basement? Clutter from the garage? August is the time. We will be having a free swap. Bring anything that will fit in your car to the meeting and put it out to be taken. And then look around, you may find that perfect something that you have been looking for, but for free. Everything that is left over will be donated to a local charity. The best part is that we will get it to the charity for you! We are giving you the heads up now so you can start making piles. Please let me know if you are planning to bring stuff to put out so that we can plan on enough tables and space for everyone. Thanks! Kate ksmboyle@gmail.com |
