The status hearing has been rescheduled to October 2nd. We have no further information at this time. We apologize for the late notice - we were notified about 9:45pm August 27th. |
| Yard Sale to Benefit NSMA | Huge Yard Sale to Benefit NSMA Thurs., August 30 & Fri., August 31 9am - 2pm 2207 Mercer Court, Naperville We need your help! Donate, Volunteer & Loan your Tables 1. DONATE! WE WILL TAKE ANYTHING*! Clean out your closets, basement and garage! Here are some items that will bring the most buyers: - Books, movies
- Electronics, TVs, stereo equipment (even if it is old)
- Household items - Kitchen, home accents and accessories, lamps, smaller pieces of furniture, bedding
- Sporting Equipment - bikes, fishing and camping equipment
- Tools
- Clothing - Gently used, clean, wearable and free of stains and tears
- Cardboard boxes for storage (will not be returned)
- Clothing hangers (will not be returned)
*Items we cannot accept include large furniture, large appliances, microwave ovens, baby cribs, pack-n-plays and car seats. Thank you. Drop off times: - Wed. August 29, 5pm - 9pm
- Thurs. August 30, 7am - 2pm

2. VOLUNTEER: PLEASE DONATE YOUR TIME! We need volunteers to help during following times. Even one hour of volunteer time is appreciated. Please consider a minimum 2-hour shift. 3. LEND YOUR TABLES, CLOTHING RACKS (OR LADDERS AND POLES) We need lots of tables and clothing racks to make our donations very shopper-friendly! If you can lend these items, clearly label with your name and phone number. Drop offduring one of the following times: - Wed. August 29, 5pm - 9pm

| Many residents do not want a smart meter installed on their home. They want the choice and according to the U.S. Constitution and the Energy Policy Act of 2005, we have that right. The city has denied its residents the choice.
According to the city you will have opportunities to refuse the wireless smart meter, but you must sign up for the non-wireless alternative and pay the monthly penalty fee to protect your home and family. If after the 3rd attempt to install a meter on your home, and you have not signed up for the alternative, the city says it will bring a police escort to your home to intimidate you into allowing the installation of the wireless smart meter.
We feel this is outrageous. There must be something serious wrongly with smart meters if the city has to threaten you to install one.

| | | Naperville Smart Meter Awareness is a non-profit 501(c)(4). We are concerned citizens educating the public about the risks of wireless smart meters. We are comprised of lawyers, technology professionals, health advocates, accountants, business owners and parents in our community.
Smart meters are currently being installed in Naperville despite a complaint for federal injunction and on-going investigations by the Illinois Attorney General for Open Meetings Act and FOIA violations by the City of Naperville in conjunction with this project.
Smart meters pose risks in the areas of privacy, costs, security, and health and are not a federally mandated program. Our mission is to educate the residents of Naperville by bringing all pertinent information to the public and in doing so, advocate for a smarter solution in Naperville.
