Stephanie Hasting and Jodi Trendler presented fabulous information and ideas on how to make our homes more energy efficient. 40% of our energy usage comes from heating or cooling the space inside our home.
Is your home as energy efficient as it could be?
Have you done an energy audit?
Do you know where your home is losing most of its heating and cooling? And most importantly, what is the most cost effective way to make your home energy efficient, that will also give you the quickest return on your investment? These and many more questions where answered at our meeting. Stephanie & Jodi helped us look at a much bigger picture to green living by taking our knowledge of energy efficieny to a whole new level and by providing reasonable and easy steps that we can do right now to offset our carbon footprint.

There is lots of advice out there about how to take care of mom...but what really works??? Sometimes, its the advice of your best girlfriend that really makes the difference because she knows what you are struggling with, because she is struggling too.
Spend an evening with Holistic Moms as we discuss ways in which we can truly take care of ourselves. Learn what actually works in gaining free time, downtime, renewing your spirit, and making the day to day "job" of motherhood more enjoyable.
Bring your best adivce, quick tips, and biggest challenges as we share with each other the things that really work in our lives!
We will be raffling off products and services that will pamper you and renew your spirit.

Holistic Moms Morning Meetup coming this Fall

We understand that many of you are unable to attend evening meetings
so this September, we will be changing our
Storytime event at Whole Foods to a morning meetup.
We will have an ongoing, open discussion meeting in which there will be lots of opportunity to exchange ideas, discuss holistic and parenting topics,
connect and deepen our friendships.
Our Morning Meetup will be held the 2nd Thursday of each month at
Whole Foods in Napervile from 9:30-11 am.
Please join us! Kids are always welcome at all Holistic Moms events.

Story Time & Moms Chat: We will meet in the cafe area the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30-11 am. A story, craft and songs will be shared from 9:30 - 10 am with continued time for connecting until 11 am. All ages are welcome! Stories read by Hobson Co-Operative Preschool Instructors.
