With Love & Friendship,   Jen Stahl, Kate Boyle, & Laura Schreiner Chapter Leaders Chicago Western Suburbs   Next Month's Meeting Holiday Open House December 7, 7 pm @ The Health Doctors, 28379 Davis Parkway, Warrenville Leave your to-do list at home and come join us for an evening of sharing "all-things holiday," the real meaning of the season.  This will be a time for sharing stories and memories of holiday traditions, unplanned events or anything worthy of a good laugh. Come share your lessons learned, inspiring moments, or just come for fun.  During this gathering, we will have a holiday holistic grab bag. Please bring a wrapped favorite natural food, personal product, or handmade item valued between $10-15.  We'll 'wrap-up' around 8:30 pm in order to convene at Two Brothers Brewery in Warrenville (http://www.twobrosbrew.com) (optional) to complete the evening in good spirits and great company!  Member Profile Kate Boyle, Chapter Leader Member since: 2007 I'm a Holistic Mom because: Its what works best for me and my family. My holistic passions are: natural birth, breastfeeding, attachment parenting, natural health care, and many, many more! What inspires me about Holistic Moms: Holistic living is not always the easiest or most convenient choice.  I'm inspired to keep moving through the experience whenever I think of what the alternative is.  There is no undoing some choices.  By giving my children the best start that I could with natural pregnancy care, natural birthing, breastfeeding and gentle parenting, by giving myself and my family the best food choices, the most natural health care and by teaching my boys to tread lightly on the earth and make good health choices for themselves-I'm giving us the best chance at a long and healthy life.   Chapter Events and Activities Chapter Meetings: Held the 1st Tuesday of every month from 7-9 pm at The Health Doctors, 28379 Davis parkway, Warrenville, www.thehealthdocs.com Open to the public. Book Club:We meet several times a year to discuss the chosen book. Location will vary. Membership is required to participate in book club. Nurturing our Children Empowering Ourselves Chicago Western Suburbs Morning Meetup Reminder Morning Meetup & Open Discussion 9:30 am at Whole Foods Naperville Join us the 2nd Thursday morning of each month for an open discussion meeting at Whole Foods in Naperville. If you are unable to make the evening meetings but still want to be a part of the Holistic Moms community, then this meeting is for you.  Our Thursday morning meetings are designed for casual conversations, re-visiting topics discussed at the evening meetings, asking questions, and deepening our friendships. This is a perfect opportunity for parents interested in holistic living and natural parenting to explore some its joys and challenges. Kids are always welcome.
