May's meeting on Nature Deficit Disorder was simply awesome! We had a wonderful discussion on the challenges to getting outdoors and identified easy ways to overcome those challenges. Connie gave us her top 10 tips for making getting out in nature as simple as possible as well as her favorite nature spots for hiking, picnics and much more!
Connie says: "Nature amplifies our senses and increases creativity. Moss found on a log becomes fairy carpet and thus an entire world is opened up to our children." By giving our children these early childhood experiences outdoors, they become the fiber of their lives and the foundation on which they grow.
So this summer - get outside!!!

| Next Month's Meeting | Attachment Parenting at All Ages

It is possible to enjoy well-behaved, well-adjusted, joyful kids without the use of traditional parenting techniques such as punishments and rewards. By creating a strong, bonded/connected relationship we become an ally to our children. Through that relationship, we are able to disciple (teach) our kids how to be in the world. Attachment parenting is part of how we create that strong bond and connection with our kids. Vaccine Rights Rally

Holistic Moms Network is proud to support the American Rally for Personal Rights in its inaugural rally to bring together organizations to support grassroots advocacy, education, and leadership in defense of our individual, parental, legal, moral, religious, civil, and human rights to informed vaccine consent.
A powerful list of speakers will be in attendance including Dr. Andrew Wakefield and Dr. Sherri Tenpenny.

Story Time & Moms Chat: We will meet in the cafe area the 2nd Thursday of each month from 9:30-11 am.
