Referendum Appeal Begins Tuesday
"The Electoral Board did not perform a legally sufficient records examinations that would be recognized by any court, or ... any other electoral board in Illinois." - petition for expedited judicial review

Join NSMA and its supporters in Wheaton Tuesday morning for the start of our appeal to overturn the Naperville Electoral Board's ruling.

On January 12, the Board decided to prevent the people from voting on the city's $22M smart meter program.  An objection to NSMA's petition was not reviewed properly or fairly by the Board.  Their process, the evidence and the decision will be reviewed by Judge Bonnie Wheaton.  Please join us!

Naperville Sun reporter Hank Beckman's article here.

"In approximately 60 instances found, the Electoral Board ruled on voters registration status where the Objections cited only signature as "name illegible." - petition for expedited judicial review

"The Board took no step to ensure that a Naperville resident who might not be registered in DuPage County for example, is actually registered in Will County." - petition for expedited judicial review

"There must be something seriously wrong with smart meters if this council is going to these lengths to keep a non-binding referendum off the ballot."
