| | Naperville Smart Meter Awareness co-sponsors the first Wireless Safety Summit to be held in Washington D.C. on October 5 and 6, 2011.
The 2-day summit, hosted by the Center for Safer Wireless, will focus on the most recent scientific research in wireless technologies, including smart meters.
The goal of the summit is to bring together scientists, policy makers, and citizens to create awareness around emerging science that substantiates the dangers of the wireless revolution.
Discussions will include cell phone and cell tower radiation, smart meters health and privacy issues, FCC wireless safety standards, WIFI in schools, and advocacy in your community.

| | Naperville Smart Meter Awareness is a group of concerned citizens educating the public about the risks of wireless smart meters. We are comprised of lawyers, technology professionals, health advocates, accountants, business owners and parents in our community. Smart meters are to be installed in Naperville starting this summer and pose risks in the areas of privacy, costs, security, and health. Our mission is to educate the residents of Naperville by bringing all pertinent information to the public and in doing so, advocate for a smarter solution in Naperville. |
