I am a holistic mom because:   Every single thing I do in my life has to serve a useful, healthy, God honoring purpose. I want my children to grow up knowing that, that onion, ginger & garlic they're eating is acting as an antibiotic, killing germs in their body, so they will avoid infections & won't have to take synthetic antibiotics. That huge bowl of salad or buckwheat they're eating, is filling them with vitamins so they can think clearly, see well, & be active... That we don't eat fast or processed foods bc they cause their body will become acidic, lethargic & feed cancer cells... That nature walk they're taking is rejuvenating every cell in their body & fostering a spirit of thankfulness to the creator of the beauty we see... When we are helping out someone we are giving back to others what we were blessed with & we're serving a God honoring purpose...

Your holistic passions are:  Eating to nourish your body; living to serve, help, & inspire others.

What inspires you about HMN or holistic living?   The fact that there's still hope in this world. That there are people who care about healthy eating & living before they get sick, and are not affected by the mainstream herd mentality.

One of my favorite healthy recipes:

This was a soup I made to get rid of what was leftover in my fridge & it was so good I ended making it all the time on purpose. It also looks really pretty & colorful! :)

Loaded Veggie Soup

-1/2 cup of chopped regular or turkey bacon (this is what gives it lots of flavor ;)
-1 small/medium onion chopped
-2 strips of organic celery chopped
-2 medium organic carrots sliced in circles on mandolin slicer
-6 cups of water (more or less, depending on how thick or watery you like your soups)
-2-3 medium organic potatoes cubed
-4-6 handfuls of chopped spinach (or you could use a pack of frozen spinach)
-1.5 cups frozen organic corn
-1.5 cups frozen peas
-1/4 cup of heavy cream or milk
-salt & pepper to taste

Fry the bacon. If you're frying turkey bacon, you have to add some butter or oil, otherwise the fat from the regular bacon is enough. Add onion, saute for 2 minutes. Add celery, saute for 2-4 minutes. Add carrots, saute for 2 minutes. add salt & pepper, mix around. Add potatoes & water. Cover & bring to a light boil/simmer. Let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes. Add the corn, peas, & heavy cream or milk. At this time add more water if it's too thick or take some out if it's too watery. Add the chopped spinach. Cover. Bring to a light simmer. Turn off the heat. Let it stand for couple minutes & wa-la. Enjoy!

Energetic Pathways to Wellness

Eva Gairabetoff, Reiki Master/Teacher

Through my practice, called Energetic Paths to Wellness, I am:

1)     Living my passion for energetic healing by teaching Reiki classes in Buffalo Grove and Elmhurst.

2)     Spreading the word about an energy technology from Amega Global available for those who are not trained in energy work to help them bring balance and harmony to their whole being. It is my mission to share these energetic wellness products, promoting Total Wellness and Self-Care.

All Amega Global products resonate at zero-point energy and help the bio-energetic fields to source the life force energy to release the congestion of the flow of energy in the body and harmonize the bio-energetic field bringing the mental, emotional, physical and spiritual into harmony.

With these energy-based therapies and technologies, I empower the recipient to participate fully in their own healing journey stressing the importance of self-care.

Come and find out more at Open Healing Events in Elmhurst and experience the power of this technology to help your body heal itself.   Contact me, Eva Gairabetoff, via email at goldenmtgoat@comcast.net or 847-337-5303.
